Its not a backbreaking effect on its own, but its definitely annoying enough to land it here on the list

Youre typically going to want around 48 to 50 cards for mana

Casting a spell for 6 mana and getting a bonus 4- or 5-mana spell is awesome, but it means that you cant use as many cheap cards in your deck, lest you cascade from an 8-mana spell to a 1-mana spell

The artifact/enchantment hating part of this card also doesnt force you to destroy anything if you dont have enough targets that you want to destroy, which is nice
